Shengjing Lantern Festival is set up in Guandong Movie Town that shows the style of the end of Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China. It consists of six parts, including New Craft Lanterns, Ice and Snow Activities, Popular Performances on Internet, Local Food, Fengtian City, and Phantom of Desert. More than 60 groups of nearly 10,000 colored lanterns have created the largest, most historical and cultural, and most humanistic lantern festival in the area. Let visitors understand the unique Guandong customs while admiring lanterns, and feel the hot and enthusiastic Guandong Lantern Fair, the "Chinese Treasure".

The lanterns of the 2020 Festival are composed of nearly ten thousand traditional lanterns, including a 10-meter-long lantern for the Year of Rat, and a 18-meter-tall lantern representing the harmony of the prosperous age, called Dream Lotus, etc. It is the largest in the entire Liaoning and Shenyang area, covering an area of 400 square meters. Tourists can take part in the show thanks to our special designs. We have several interactive lanterns, including "Fu Labyrinth" composed of various types of accessible colored lights, Yellow Duck made up of mechanical interactive light groups, Pedal Piano, Wealthy Flowers, Blessing Goldfish and a 100-long light road with more than 500 jellyfish lights. The "Great Country•Prosperous Collection" 2020 11th Shengjing Lantern Festival is especially eye-catching. The design idea comes from collections of the National Museum. Many traditional skills are adopted to make the lights, such as filigree, shaping, wall-papering and hand-painting. This series is called "Chinese Treasure", because many lights are made according to the famous ancient handicrafts in China, including Bronze Beast, Hetian Jade Sheep, Vase made by Longquan Kiln from Southern Song Dynasty, Carved Porcelain Vase made in Emperor Qianlong's Ruling Time in Qing Dynasty, Celadon Binaural Pot made in Emperor Qianlong's Ruling Time in Qing Dynasty and Nine-tube Vase. These lights vividly show the appearance of the original crafts. Tourists can watch lanterns, play with snow and create new popular place to take photos.

During Shengjing Lantern Festival, performances with local customs and Chinese tradition are given at the Guandong Movie Town. One of them is the Marionette. It is played by real people. During the show, actors will dance, play stilts and sing local traditional opera; the 3-meter-tall cartoon panda and its friends will also join with the tourists to have fun together.
In fact, Guandong Temple Fair of Shengjing Lantern Festival has changed the traditional mode of exhibiting lights only. It has integrated lanterns with ice and snow activities, shows, and local snacks. It will create the first one-stop Lantern Festival in Liaoning and Shenyang area to make visitors experience the real Guandong New Year.
