There was a lotus village here a long time ago and there is a lotus pond in the village. It is said that a lotus fairy passed here and scattered pearls on her wrist into the pool. Suddenly pond was full of lotus, with fragrance overflowing everywhere. The fairy hopes that people can come here to admire the lotus, and be like a lotus flower, leaving the silt without any stain, entering the mud without any decay, true and real, frank and kind. Today, the uncorrupted spirit of "leaving the silt without any stain, watched with water without any sluttery" is advocated and promoted by Qipan Mountain Administration.
