"One Water" refers to Xiu Lake, a gentle and beautiful girl lying quietly in mountains. In 1974, government built dams between Qipan Mountain and Hui Mountain to stop the water of Pu River to form a man-made lake, 3.3-kilometer long from east to wast, 1.5-kilometer wide from north to south. Because the shape of the lake is like the Chinese word "Xiu", so it is named Xiu Lake. The area of Xiu Lake is 5.04 square kilometers, 18-23 meters deep, and the storage capacity is 80 million cubic meters. The water quality is clear and pollution-free, so there are many kinds of fish, up to 36 kinds: the most famous are Plecoglossus Altivelis, Pelteobagrus Fulvidraco, Ctenopharyngodon Idellus, Carassius Auratus Auratus, etc. The meat is tender, very delicious. The Xiu Lake Fish Feast has been named a famous Chinese feast. Xiu Lake has a wide surface, tortuous shoreline, surrounded by mountains, extremely beautiful. In July and August, with drizzle and mist, mountains are looming in the milky white, forming Shenyang's most famous landscape "Misty Rain in Xiu Lake". It is just as Su Shi, a famous Chinese ancient poet, wrote, "the water is shining under clear sky, the mountains are looming in misty rain."
